MoM

I absolutely love going through old pictures. If I'm in an old antique store and come across pictures, I can stand there for hours going through all of them. I took a trip to my grandparents house and went through all their old albums and happened upon this one of my mom when she was a little girl. It's one of my favorites! Nothing beats sitting down and flipping through some old family albums...

Winter

Just some fun shots this winter when it was snowing, and driving through Amish Country near central Ohio.

Caribbean

Such an amazing trip through Belize, Honduras, and Mexico.

Theresa & Giovanni {Los Angeles CA}

Theresa and Giovanni were a couple that were so in love, as every couple should be. Their simple wedding had so much charm and intimacy. The beautiful design and styling was from Katy Carrier. www.katycarrierevents.com

Mary & Justen {Boston MA}

What a beautiful couple, and an amazing location! We found this quaint farmhouse while driving down the road on a spectacular fall day and just had to photograph there. Beautiful scenery, chilly weather, and that New England charm made this one to remember!

Kara & Richard {Santa Ynez California}

Beautiful couple, beautiful wedding, and a beautiful day! Kara and Richard had their wedding at a charming private home in the heart of Santa Ynez. I was so happy to have had the opportunity to capture some images of their special day! Thanks to Linda Chaja for letting me tag along.

80th Birthday {Santa Barbara CA}

It was such a blessing getting to photograph my good friend with her mother, Joan, for her 80th birthday. We had lots of fun, and then spoiled her with a yummy dinner out. They were very gracious and I'm glad I was able to give them this gift.

Carpinteria Farmers Market {Carpinteria CA}

I love going to the Farmers Market every Thursday, and the fact that I can walk down the street to it is awesome! There are so many different colors, shapes, foods, and interesting people. It always inspires me to cook...and then eat! Here are a few images from my most recent visit. Enjoy!

A little bit country... {Santa Ynez}

Bobby and Shelley are such a sweet couple. Their wedding was truly inspired by home, heart, and comfort (food). They were such an easy couple to photograph, so at ease with each other and in front of the camera. I felt like I was back home at my family reunion surrounded by love and laughs. Such an amazing and heartfelt day...

just playing around

My wife's friend came over with her daughter Phoebe a few months back and she was so cute just playing around outside (still in her dance class attire of course). I just had to snap a few pics of her real quick before she caught on to what I was doing...

Oh, baby

Gemma and I consulted many times about how she wanted this shoot to go. We both agreed that we wanted to capture a more sensual side of pregnancy, and what better place to find that than in the bedroom. My wife came along to help ease any tension and tweak and tuck any little things for Gemma. These are just a few of the images.

(side note: little Scarlet was born the very next day. Good timing, eh?)

Athena & Brian {Santa Ynez, CA}

Athena and Brian had an intimate wedding in the beautiful wine country of the Santa Ynez Valley. The view was breathtaking on top of the hill where they were married. Every detail was original and definitely inspired by this wonderful couple.

Leah & Chris {Summerland}

This wedding was amazing! Leah and Chris really put a lot of creativity into their wedding, and it shows in all these details. I am so happy for these two newlyweds and glad that I was able to capture their big day.

(a special thanks to Linda Chaja for asking me along as a second shooter)
